Vamenan Saffron

Vamnan is a mountainous village in the middle of Alborz Mountains in the city of Azadshahr with a temperate climate in summer and cold in winter. Saffron cultivation and the tendency of the people to create new farms in small and large fields without receiving any facilities and help from the government has made the name of this village famous. Saffron cultivation in this village is completely organic. Animal manure is used to enrich the soil. Geographical location and altitude, favorable climate, heat and humidity have created a very suitable substrate for saffron cultivation in Vamnan.
